CURRENT HAPPENINGS
After seven years of being an entirely online business, we’ve finally gone bricks & mortar. We opened our first permanent retail store in December 2006, shortly before the first of many blizzards hit Denver. Our store is on South Pearl Street, a little stretch of locally owned boutiques and restaurants that is smack in the middle of the Platt Park neighborhood. We’re at 1225 S. Pearl, on the up-and-coming (i.e. less expensive) northern end of the business district, just south of the highway and right by the new Louisiana/Pearl light rail station. Come see us if you’re in the area, and check out our pics if you’re not.
We also moved our offices and warehouse to our Pearl Street location, so we’re finally all under one roof. Your orders are received, then lovingly personalized, laminated, stretched, folded, packed and shipped from here.
We have also redesigned our website and added lots of new products: new eco-friendly bedding sets, a wider selection of our popular personalized products, and our favorite toys, gear and furniture. Plus, we’re offering nursery design services and wonderful sustainable, recycled and recyclable decorating materials.
GROW IN THE NEWS
New news: We’re just now relaunching our site, and promoting our store and products, so we will continue to update this section as we go along. Our first store mention was in our neighborhood newspaper, The Washington Park Profile.
Old news: It’s been awhile since we promoted our site, so we’ve got a lot of old, old news. But in case you’re wondering what was said about us in the years before blogs and podcasts, you can check out our fishy old clips.
